House cat by front door

I've been looking and still am having trouble finding the answers. I hope someone will have some insight for me.
I have two cats one is doing something she's never done before. She just keeps sitting at the front door she's facing the door. I know there is a message here somewhere. My gratitude to all for any help

Instead of looking for a magickal sign, maybe you should be taking your cat to the vet, staring at a solid surface for long periods of time is not a normal behaviour.

Any sudden changes in behaviour should always be checked out by a vet, if your cat turns out to be totally fine, then you could start looking for a message.

Perhaps there is a message. If you truly feel there is, go ahead and try to analyse it; that's completely up to you.

As someone who has never lived in a house with less than three cats in it, I can say that cats have a tendency to form temporary patterns and habits (as you have probably noticed). They will become obsessed with a certain sleeping spot, toy, etc. for two or three weeks, and then move on and form a new habit. One of my cats would only sleep on the right side of the back of one of our chairs for a month. Another one of my cats would stare at the surface of a table in our living room every day for about a week. It's completely normal for cats to do such things. As long as you're positive she's healthy, as stated above, I personally would just chalk it up to weird cat habit.

Thank you. I truly feel there is a message here. That is why I asked. I'm still researching it.

It sounds like the cat is either bored or wants to go outside to explore.
