The same way you cast a regular spell. Just replace it with whatever curse you want. There isn't one particular way.

You can also summon a djin and ask the curse as a wish.

Well I see nothing wrong with handing someone a loaded gun lol. [Please don't go around cursing people, I'm responding for educational purposes only]

If you know how to cast a spell you can cast a curse. With a spell you charge energy, focus and visualize your desired outcome. You should also focus on the positive, if it's a love spell focus on that warm feeling, if it's money think of all the good it can do. With curses, you focus on your anger, rage, and negative feelings towards the person. Instead of building energy [you do charge energy in a curse] you build up all your negative emotions and direct them at the target.

You can also curse yourself so be careful. When you cast spells energy builds up in your home and body [which is why regular cleansings is wise] But this energy is usually positive. When you cast curses, you're focusing negative energies, this can build and bring bad things your way. You may not break your arm because you cast a curse, but that negative energy will weigh you down, make you miserable, and feel terrible. Granted, one curse won't turn you into a ball of misery, but if you focus on a bad situation, you will be in a bad mood. This can build, so don't curse someone unless it's an absolute last resort.

I don't believe in backfires. Backfire occurs only in ill planned or inexperienced magick. It's a result of poor understanding of the method, situation, or sometimes but least often, uncontrollable unforseen factors.

How do you curse? You've likely done it all your life in the form of the evil eye. All a curse is, is ill wishing or "backward blessing". The difference between a conscious curse and the thrown malicious thoughts that occur in a moment of anger, hate, or just a really bad day, is focus and the will for it to truly manifest.

Advanced curses call in the aid of other powers, beings, or spirits and those can be dangerous because inviting negative forces to you to help you can in fact draw such energy into your life and effect it.

Also one bit of advice, never curse someone that you associate with regularly. Curses tend to effect the target and all directly connected individuals. So if you hate your sister's boyfriend and curse him, your sister could suffer from your curse as well, which could then affect the family of both parties, etc. In such cases, it's better to use freeze spells, banishment, or even blessing. Sometimes giving your enemy good luck can give them a better push out of your life than ill luck.

That's why divination is extremely important. You should learn at least one form of divination in order to review your plans before you go through with them and consider additional choices you may not consider.
