if time travel is impossible, then why are there time travel spells on this site?

There are many fantasy spells on this site that will never work. Time travel spells are one example of fantasy spells. Spells can be added to this site by anyone whether they are real or not or whether the person adding them knows what they are talking about. Just because a spell is on this site doesn't mean that it will work.

Yes, like Lark said, just about anyone can add whatever spells they want. If you see a spell that's a little iffy then just trust your gut, know it's more than likely fake and move on.
Some people just post spells just to post them, whether they are fake or actually believe it to be real. I've seen a spell that is about putting skittles in sprite then drinking it, and that was the whole spell.

The problem with all these "fantasy" spells is that many people, especially the young, think that the spell is the magic! It isn't! Magic works without spells. A spell is really a ritual, a ceremony. A wish. An attempt, by performing a ritual, and perhaps chanting, to make magic happen.
Many witches do not cast spells. I don't cast spells; and my witch teacher didn't.
Most people have cast a spell without even knowing! The blowing out of candles on a Birthday Cake is a pretty well established ritual. If you then make a silent wish, you have just cast a spell!
Do spells work? Well, obviously they sometimes do; but in my opinion not very often.

Yea I looked over some of those spells and they actually sound like total bullshit. But surely there is a time spell somewhere that works, however if I travel time, I would wanna stay in a certain time period rather than go back to regular time.

I've seen time "slip" as in clocks that start at the same time, all of a sudden are showing different times. I've seen travel take longer or shorter then it should have (traveling 60 MPH you shouldn't be able to travel 3 miles in an hour). The concept seems to be sound, but willful time travel would be an advanced practice beyond the scope of a simple spell. I will never tell you that it can't be done though.

Your perception of time may have changed, but that doesn't mean one can go back in time. Time is relative, we all experience it differently. We're all already traveling time. I may have gotten to the present faster than you, but we both arrived at the same time. The only way to travel back in time requires breaking the laws of physics, so in short, we'll never go back in time.

Physics actually allows for time travel see:

But again just because it's theoretically possible, it's not in the realm of something that can be done simply or easily.
