Magic does not really work for me. Whenever I cast a spell, any spell, it either is not as powerful/works as well as others have said it to work, or it does work, but then it doesn't do so well afterward. Or it takes forever for it to have even close to the same effect that others have said it to have. That, and sometimes nothing really happens at all. My own spells included.
Any help would be appreciated.

Say I make and cast a spell to fly whenever I want. I don't even float, let alone fly, and I am barely even lifted up. Or say I try to summon something. If it does come, it doesn't even do a good job of what I want it to do, and it ends up leaving, never to come back, even though i did not tell it to. Say i cast a spell to help me with pyrokinesis, I barely get any help, and it ends up coming to nothing. Or, say I cast a spell to at least make my eyes adjust to the dark faster. There ends up being no difference. Say I cast a spell to change my body. it takes forever, let alone if it even really happens.

That is not magick. That is pure fantasy. Nothing like that will work because, one, we cannot fly. Two, we cannot change our bodies using magick. And no fire is ever going come out, because we, as humans, cannot do this.
Get out of the fantasy and learn what magick can really do.
