its best not to sell your soul as that is you. Most dieties will find loopholes in the contracts and still take possesion of your soul (you) as they please. I would advise you try offerings for services. That would be the much safer way to go.
Your soul can't be sold, and it can't be taken over. A body could be "taken over" but a soul is a completely different thing and it is yours and yours alone. You can't give it to someone, and no one can take it from you. The only time your soul will leave your body is in death, or astral projection. I hope that helps (:
This misconception is probably an outcome of misunderstanding the spiritual term we call "The Soul". However it's not that hard to get to some general understanding.
Basically this terminology comes to teach that a person essentially consists of a physical body that must die, and a soul that lives forever.There is a source of energy that exists within an organism (person) giving it/them life the absence of this energy causes death. This life giving energy is referred to as a soul or spirit.
It is suggested that a body can continue to exist with the use of technology but in the absence of a soul it cannot be alive. A soul is believed to exist as a shroud of pure conscious energy that is beyond physical containment or measurement. It is perceived to exist within a sphere that is beyond the purview of scientific knowledge. The concept of a soul suggests that it cannot experience physical sensations or have direct interactions with elements within a physical realm.
As I said note I should point out that beyond this very general definition of the soul, there are theoretically different ideas about further detailed information by any meaning beyond what's been told in different aspect. But the basic idea is this.
Now... After getting to know what this spiritual term basically means, it gets easier to understand that it isn't a spiritual source to sell.
To begin with, according to the definition of this spiritual term, it's not a product or a gift card which we are capable of selling, considering that you possibly understood the meaning. It's a source of internal energy which we obtain, as a summary of the word being said above, so it is a misconception to say that we should sell such a thing and literally stay alive to enjoy all of life's moments. In fact, to me, and probably to most of the aspects known to humanity about souls, that's a fairly silly idea, without condescending.
Secondly, I don't think that any superior spiritual being would be interested to purchase your soul (considering it was possible, while it's obviously not).
You won't do it, your soul is essential for your existence as my final point.
And i'll tell you something additional in order to give you information that won't dissatisfy you. You can obviously do many other possible things to show your appreciation to any superior spiritual being which you possibly believe in.
correction there is one other time you soul could be kicked out of you body if you are not careful. for there are thing out there that if you are not careful who you channel you could be come a walk in which is not good. for i know a good friend of mine who was a medium but did not watch who she channeled and she is now in Paradise will her body is taken over by a dark entity. her children and all her find are suffering becous of this. so which who you open your self to.
offerings is the best way, or spells or prayers, spirits, daimons, angels, and creeper demons usually are very glad to serve you, usually your will power is stronger than theirs or the serve a higher being or are meant to serve you so you have better control and you can make them do anything, like controlling spirits through circles, power, will power, will, intent, energy and or authority or from a higher authority. Daimons are garudian demons, angels can serve you, be messengers, or be your guardian angel, spirits usually want to serve you and can be controlled, and creeper demons want to do your bidding and can be controlled, anyways that's all.
