What should newbie do?

What is meditation, grounding, aura-seeing and psi balls?

What should I do before I chant or cast a spell to make the spell work?

1. Study your basics. Head on over to newbie central and read as much as you can! There is some good, and simple stuff there. Once, done, go out and seek books at your local library or book store that expand on the practice of Witchcraft.

2. The first two on that list can be answered in newbie central. The other two, it is best if you look online for more detailed information, or find a book on these things somewhere in your town, or city.

3. That depends on your path. Most would say that a good visualization exercise and meditation is a wonderful way to start a spell (which is why i always have that at the beginning of all of my spells - or at least most of them).

Any more questions, feel free to ask :)

To start recommend you check yourself in the presence of the gift and talent for magic.
Then select the type of magic. Not every kind of magic you can do. You will feel it for yourself. We strongly recommend not to learn the magic of google and modern books, and find a good teacher. Here you will find only "expert" rather than a teacher who will give you lots of information from Google. But this way is wrong. You do not give real knowledge. This is a closed society, and the entrance to it is limited ..
I encourage you to meditate more, to have a strong concentration. It is essential in ritual magic.
