Moving the jet stream

I am going insane with the above normal temperatures in my state(WI). Is there all ready a spell out there that can help move the jet stream along or do we have to create one? And if we have to, how would one go about doing so? I would like to calm down when it comes to seeing the weather and not being pissy.

Why be angry about things you cannot change? Affect the things you can. Accept the rest.

Okay, uh, first-off, no. I highly doubt anybody has ever even considered that, given that altering something like a jet stream would be nearly impossible. On top of that, I wouldn't worry too much about it; if you check your local weather, there's a small sub-tropical jet just over Wisconsin that's pumping in warm air and deflecting clouds and cool air from the Northern Polar Jet. Give it a week or two, and when the Northern Polar shifts a few miles south like every year around Samhain, you'll cool off.

Sorry about that. Just thought that if there was spells for rain and snow we could do something. But looks like I'm wrong. Sorry

Influencing the weather is one of those very much debated topics in magic. There is not verifiable proof that it can be done. At the very least, a major system, much less the jetstreams, take immense amounts of thermal energy to form, and unfathomable (to the human mind -- a nuclear blast does nothing to effect a hurricane) amounts of interactions due to the Coriolis effect to move across our planet.

Some people may insist they can summon a breeze (though even something small is debatable, and not verifiable), with a fair amount of effort. If this were possible, it would not be in the realm of likelihood for a single individual to be able to muster the metaphysical influence of a greater amount of energy than the entire discharge value of the global nuclear stockpile combined simultaneously, to attempt redirecting major global weather systems.

weather magick is a grey area thats debated on [as mentioned above] if it was possible it would take a lot of focus and energy and would effect the whole planet, not just your little area. there was his story years ago when a tropical storm was suppose to hit Florida, a church group claimed they prayed the storm would miss Florida, and it did, unfortunately it hit the neighbouring states as a hurricane. whether they actual influenced the weather or not, i like to use that story as a reminder, you don't stop weather, you move it and it could be much worse for someone else.

as for practical things you can do [i hate the heat myself, especially humidity] is find ways to help stop/slow the warming of the planet, there are plenty of little things we can do that can help in the long run. plus, if you can't stand the heat where you live, research moving somewhere else that's more moderate.

I have heard of the supposed powers of demonized ancient gods and pantheons, as some djinn and daemons are adept in controlling winds. Nickars can do this, King Paimon and a few other goetic beings have domain over the sun and wind, and etc.
I’ve forgotten the name of a link that was a very long detailed description of a man in Las Vegas who summoned King Paimon and he requested him to change the temperature and it was immediate. (It was a forum and the rest of the post also talks about wisdom concerning business and economy and etc)
