Blow or not to blow?

Hello to you all,

I have a question for you ; I just did a love spell who finished by '' blow the candle '' and I actually did it. After that, I remembered that we are not supposed to blow into our candle to finish the spell ...But I really felt that I was concentrate and I kinda have a really great feeling about the spell .Do you think that blowing into the candle will ruin all the work I put into it and that will be the reason the spell will not work?
Thank you so much !

If you believe/feel it does then it is ruin, if you don't believe in that then the spell is done. Most witches that I know don't snuff out their candle and they still have successful spells done.

You don't have to follow that books you know?

Whatever feels right to you. Some say it blows away some of the energy, others say it's an insult to the element, but it really comes down to your belief. I snuff out the candle, but it's more because I've been doing it since day one and not belief.

I have found a lot of different info on snuff candles out vs blowing them out. The best theory I found and follow is blowing the candles out as it sends your intent out into the universe. If you thank the elements for their assist then you aren't being disrespectful to air for blowing it out.

I guess, in a fashion, it would depend on your beliefs as mentioned in the previous posts. I use candle magic a lot, every book I've read, suggested to snuff the candles out, or let them burn out naturally ( if it's possible). Most indicate that when you let them go out on their own, the spell has been completed. The above posters stated nicely the reasons for not blowing out the candles - it mirrors all I've read with regards to being disrespectful to the elements, and 'killing' the desired intent by 'killing' the flame. To each their own though, follow your intuition.

I'd like to say blow; but blow out the candle with the respect the flame deserves.

For example if the flame was created to defend you from your enemies then I'd blow it out with the respect and reverence it deserves.

As for flames used in love spells however I would use a small candle so it would go out on it's own in a short period. I wouldn't feel comfortable to blow out a flame which united a passion or love etc.

It all depends if the working needed to continue then you should not have blown it out but snuff it out by blowing out candles it means the work is done if it was your intention to finish the work then blow it out
