My question is, since i am not an English native speaker and live in indonesja, can I cast the spells in my language? Will it reduce the power? Thx
Yes, you can cast the spells in your language. However, most books about Wicca will be in English, and the tradition of Wicca is very Western. I also live in Southeast Asia, so I feel that an "earth-based" or "land-based" religion such as Wicca is too different for the tropical region of the world. So, it is not only the language, but the custom and the culture.
For example, I still believe in the Fae, which is Western, but to me the Fae are the same as the local "folkloric" beings. I do not meet with any Leprechaun, but I do meet with a Patianak. The Patianak is the same as a Fae in my opinion, or any of the Japanese Yokai (same as Fae.) Other people can disagree.
Indonesia has local traditions of magic, yes? Belief in the gamelan is maybe part of local tradition. It is not necessary for all magic to be from Europe or America.
This is not to discourage you. This is only my point of view. If you have this interest, then you feel free to read and communicate with others about the Wicca world!

Yes indonesia has many traditional of magic cultures, every locals have different magic cultures. in fact, I practice Kejawen (Javanese old spiritualism) too.
Gamelan is traditional ensemble music btw.
I am intersted in Wicca because of this sites and other sites make it easier to find any information about Wicca. and Wicca spells are so varied . So I think why don't practice both local and western since i love all kind of magics.
I agree with you about the counterpart creatures/beings such as Fae, Patianak, Japanese Yokai.

Doni, One thing to understand in exploring Wicca is that it is a religion. There are no such things as "Wiccan spells". Many Wiccans seldom if ever cast spells. If all you are interested in are the spells and not in finding a new religion then there are paths other than Wicca which may suit you better. You certainly don't need to be Wiccan to cast spells.
Interestingly enough the man who brought Wicca to public notice, Gerald Gardner, had been influenced by the years that he spent working in Malaysia during the 1920's and 1930"s. You might find his books " Witchcraft Toda y" and " The Meaning of Witchcraft " a good place to learn about the religion of Wicca.
There is a lot of information about Wicca here on this site in the Wicca Forum. I'd suggest starting with the thread " What Wicca Is and Isn't" and then with the collection of threads under " Main Wicca Posts ".
