Like a lot of things, it will be even harder the more you try to force it. Everyone will tell you that meditation is key to astral projection, and you need to be in a very deep relaxed state before you can detach your astral self from your physical self. Trying too hard will lead you to be frustrated, and take you out of that deep state

Any out of body experience and even meditation require:

  • Practice and hard work
  • Time
  • Experience

So in order to achieve it you need to practice your meditation and visualisation befor you even try astral projection. It may take a while to happen. It may as well never happen to you. I believe that some people can't do it. But give it time before you get frustrated. If you get frustrated or angry you are most likey not to achieve it.

Yea, true. I struggle with this as well. I've always been a natural at it when I was a child, and then my mother told me to stop, that it was weird and unnatural. So I did, and ever since then I haven't been able to do it.
