Scottish Folklore.
By:
Hi everyone, so I just got addicted to the tv show Outlander, and in the show at the beginning of the first episode, they talk about Halloween or Samwhain (Sorry if i spelt it wrong)and that kind of got me interested in Scottish Folklore. So I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers, a brief introduction to Scottish Folklore please?
Thanks!

There's not a great deal of Scottish Folklore. Unlike England and Wales, it was not conquered by so many others. Much of Scottish Folklore is actually Irish, some Scandinavian, some ancient beliefs of Picts. There are "stories" of course; legends, such as Robert The Bruce and the Spider.
