Thought form evolution?

I've been wondering if a thought form could evolve into something akin to a ghost or higher spirit?

My friend, Corrines, thought form of around eight years, Ash, has been developing recently. Her friend Max has alleged that he's seen and sensed him to varying degrees. Her distant friend Mark described his presence.

Does anyone have any input?

Just commenting because I want to keep track of this thread. They could be becoming "egregores" in a sense?

In the materials I've read about thought forms, they can start to evolve. Some witches will claim they need to be constantly "reprogrammed" to their purpose or they will go rough and wander off. I've not dealt with this issue personally, so I can't say for sure but it makes sense to me that it is highly possible.

Yes, they can and do. It's normal. Well, as normal as these things get.

Alexandra David-Neel was a French explorer who had an adventure with a tulpa, or a thoughtform created through meditation in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. In her memoirs, she wrote about how it started off as a fat and jolly monk and then became skinny and mean. And then other people began to see him too.

It happens, I actually think that that's a big reason why many instructions on how to build a thought form involve destroying it after a set amount of time or once it's job is done. Seems like a waste to me, especially if one that's more a being of its own is capable of helping out more or offering suggestions on things.

The evolution probably has something to do with how much energy has been fed into it over time. Has your friend noticed their thought form taking or needing more energy as this has been happening?

Corrine originally made Ash without the intent too. He was a mental construct to deal with her abusive mother and isolation. She expanded him into her magic work as a type of being that monitored and carried out her spells. She 'worked' with him constantly to develop him. She found out about four years later what a thought form was and used what she found.

Now, Ash barely feeds off her. She gives him enough to survive, 2 percent of herself, and made him develop his own circulation. It's more of an emotional dependency then anything else.
