pyrokinesis

quick note to all people who are going to say it is not possible please don't reply to this post since I believe you may be of no help I have been tying to do some basic pyrokinesis by putting out a candle by putting my hand like cups about 4/5 inch from the flame and focusing my energy in to the flame and willing it to go out, I have been able to flatten / shrink the flame but the tips of my fingers start to burn real bad even though my hand is no were close to burning distance of the flame. how can I stop this and put out the flame and could it be I am trying too hard or have some sort of energy block?
any advice would be useful thanks.

That's not pyrokinesis, which does not exist. That is merely a shift in the air currents caused by the nearness of your hand to the flame. Anyone can do this, there is absolutely nothing magical about it.

Good job Lark! We keep trying to tell them, but everyone has to start somewhere, I suppose.

Next, moving on. I can do this, Lark can do this, anyone can. It is using your hand, and the element fire! Shocker it blows away due to air. As lark already said.

You might be a ten year old who has done a bit of reading. You might be a fifty year old knowing nothing!
But I will tell you this, from a very old witch,what you have posted is absolute nonsense. If you can control fire, then your local Fire Chief would be very pleased to meet you. Play with fire, and I can assure you, you will burn!

I will agree that there is nothing magical about this. In addition to that, the flames die because you are cutting off it's source of oxygen. If you place a cup over the candle, the flame will die once again, as fire needs oxgen to keep burning. As for the burning, fire radiates heat, and though you may not be touching the flame or close to it, heat rises and will burn your hands.

I cannot control fire I am attempting to manipulate energy/chi and using this as a practice also my age is my business although much older by miss craw and I am responding in the way I am is because I have had the pleasure of miss craw before also I am a tad fed up of being looked down on by others who have such a closed mind

+my hands are not above the fire also I do know how fire works
