Faeries

Faeries are of the divine light as are humans. If we consider everyone to be our sisters/brothers then why not them? They work to heal/balance the Earth. They work to make our home our home. They cannot do so to full entirety without the help of all humanity.

I hate to be the antagonist here, but as someone that has researched "fae" in depth for many years, I find your statement extremely "new age" and almost Disney-like. Looking up at my bookshelf containing The Celtic Twilight by Yeats, The Fairy-Faith In Celtic Countries by Evans, The World Guide to Gnomes, Fairies, Elves and Other Little People by Keightley, The Field Guide to the Little People by Arrowsmith...and the list goes on, I can't recall ever reading anything about "divine light" "healing and balancing the Earth" or needing help from humanity.

The Fae are a form of incorporeal sentient being that is believed to exist along side us. Some were considered gods and are still worshiped and honored as such to this very day. They are not all kind, they are not all loving, and they are actually mostly known for being terrifying and an absolute nightmare (sometimes literally) if you upset them. The reason they are called "fair folk" was actually a way to compliment them and make them happy because they feared the repercussions if they called them anything less than a nice thing. Offering them sweet foods and cream was a way to keep on their good side.

They were considered "fallen angels" taken from the Persian "Peri" brought to Europe and another language that was eventually pronounced and known as "Faerie" where they still called them fallen angels. If you look into Norse mythology, where there are both upper world elves and lower world elves (alfr) you can consider this "midgard" the "middle ground" between them. But notice I said there are "lower world" ones. Ah, yes, in fact, where the "faerie" are concerned, it is always IN the ground that they go, hence the name "sidhe" or "mound people".

I know people who work with fae, they are not all happy jolly creatures. Like WhiteRav3n said some can be terrifying. Those who work with them see humans and fae as equals, meaning they don't see fae as creatures to serve humanity. Fae can be helpful or vengeful depending on a few factors. I do wonder what you mean by "they work to make our home a home" each fae is different, but they don't go skipping about blessing babies and making flowers bloom. If they like you, you might receive a gift of some kind, if you displease them watch out. If you come across one treat it with respect. Blessed Be.

Fey can be nice. Or mean. A lot of them like to be tricksters lol. Humans are no better. There are tricksters/mean people/happy/sad people/helpful/distressing people in every group or community.

Demonic beings can disguise themselves as Fae, but if you were to ask them to send you love, they could not no matter what. No matter how capable they are or think they are. They (Demons) cannot accept or receive any form of love. It is not in their nature. The "Fairy " tales of evil and mischievous beings are simply that. Tales made from 1: Fear or lack of knowledge. 2: Being raised to believe they do not exist. 3: If you have had contact, please send that being unconditional love, if they flinch, back away or otherwise, you are dealing with the Devil. 4: Ignorance. (Lack of knowledge based.)

You do not read of it, because of the war that went on between them. We grew strength from beating them with Iron. Banishing them. We feared them as time dwindled. We grew bitter and distant. Even after a strong bond with them.

If that's your personal gnosis, then you ought to claim that and preferably describe how you came to this conclusion. Was it shamanic vision quests? How exactly did those go, then? Was it automatic writing?

Because if you come in with saying, "This is a fact about the magical world because I said so" of course people aren't going to be receptive.

I found out through the Faeries themselves. And, proper credit goes to "Wisdom Of the Faeries volume 1: Befriending faeries, a detailed guide to connecting with Nature Spirits" By F.J McKinnon. A friend of mine. She opened herself up to the real thing and she continues to learn about them and their culture. This can be bought through Amazon for kindle fire $9.99
Slightly more for the actual book.

I found out some very different other things through the fae themselves, too, but personal gnosis (which is what this is) is like fanfiction headcanon: rarely as absolute and literal as we corporeal people are used to. I'll be sure to check out your friend's book, though.
