did enchantment work

I enchanted a ring and after i did this the ring was very hard to take off, there was a magnetic like pull when i attempted to take it off, does this mean the enchantment worked?

What was the enchantment for in the first place?

it was a camouflage enchantment.

Its not exactly an indication per say it depends on if you had it draw energy from your own power then it could be. It's not an end all identifier tho best way to say for sure it test it.
