If you were ever wondering what books or guides could help you learn about Herbalism, I reccomend these follwing books, as they are very accurate and reliable.

Mastering Herbalism a Practical guide . By- Paul Huson

I'd also reccomend The dictionary of Moderen Herbalism- By- Simon Mills

Sacred plant medicine: The Wisdom in Native American Herbalism By-Stephen Harrod

Vitalism: The History of Herbalism , By- Mathew Wood

MagicalHerbalism by Scott Cunningham

Thank you, if you know of any other books, feel free to post them. Just as a side note, I reccomend all of Scott Cunningham's books so I'd check on Magical Herbalism first.

Thank you for the insight. Learning herbal usage is a very in depth task. I have begun the journey and have been quite overwhelmed by how much information is out there. I have also been blown away by how powerful some common every day "weeds" actually are. Thank you for the guides. I will examine every one of them.

I love Scott's books! They were my first guides into the magick realm. So vey easy to grasp, and very well written and organised. I also recommend:
101 uses for Stinging Nettles by Piers Warren
I also recommend any guides to local/ native flora in you're particular region, as foraging for them yourself is incredibly rewarding, and gives you valuable hands- on experience.

I would also recommend 20,000 Secrets of Tea by Victoria Zak. If you can find it, Herbal Remedies by Non Shaw and Christopher Hedley is a wonderful book as well.

A Taste of Heritage: Crow Indian Recipes and Herbal Medicines by Alma Hogan Snell and Indian Herbalogy of North America by Alma R. Hutchens and Alam Hutchens are two others I would recommend. And pretty much any old herbal that you can find.

Two books that I have found helpful in my practice were "The Art of Shen Ku" by Zeek, and "The Complete Herbal" by Nicholas Culpeper. Both have a plethora of useful herbal information. The first gives a variety of other things such as pressure point stimulation, martial arts, what to do in an emergency, quick palmistry reference, and survival information.
