Which books are best?

My younger brother has taken interest into the craft, but sadly I won't be around much longer once I'm off into college.

I have several books on being a solitary pagan, but I'm not sure if they are truly the best. Over the years I've taken bits and pieces of information out of the books, but I'm not sure if they are the best of books to give to him.
The books include:
-Of Witches by Janet Thompson
- a book by Kate West(i lost the cover, but her name is on the back)
I have the book Magic: White and Black by Franz Hartmann, which is a very great theosophical book. I also have several of Scott Cunningham's books, which are pretty good as well.

Any suggestions on what sort of books out there are best for a beginner?
