Well, first, would you like to learn about magic or Wicca?

If you want to learn about magic alone, go into the General Info forums, and read some of the stuck threads.

If you want to learn about Wicca (and magic), then read the stuck threads that are within this forum. Lark has many intelligent ones on the subject of Wicca.

I would agree. While Wicca does include the practice of magic, it is primarily a religion with specific beliefs and practices. Many Wiccans do very few spells preferring to reserve magic for only important things in their lives. If it's Wicca you'd like to learn about I'd be happy to point you at some good resources or answer your questions.

On the other hand, if it's just magic you're interested in rather than religion then there is no reason to study Wicca at all. There are many different forms of magic that aren't tied in any way to religion.
