I'm sorry, but you cannot do a spell to increase the pace of time. Time is one constant that does not change.
However, spells can be done to affect your perception of time. I would suggest that you do not look further into changing time with spells, so do not look for spells to freeze, slow down, speed up time, or to travel through time. They fall under a similar category as DNA altering spells - the category of impossible and against the natural laws of the universe.

I agree with deatlancer.I once did a spell like that for fun knowing it would not work( i tried cause I was bored).Anyway while time did not speed up my sense of time diminished. In other words it changed my perception of time and to me the day went by much quicker sad part about it is I got nothing done since when afternoon hit I thought it was still morning.Should of paid more attention to the clock.

You cannot actually speed up time, only your perception of how fast time is passing. And concentrating on the clock will only slow that perception and defeat your purpose.

Actually time isnt constant. Time is dependent on gravity, thats why if an astronaut entered a black hole, ignoring him being teared apart, he would perceive the universe going by by billions of years at a time if he looked out. This is if we ignore how light cannot escape a black hole.

time is also dependant on speed. So... You could also accelerate your body to near the speed of light to have time pass by faster... Or well... Actually you could go a lot slower than that.

But the question was, how could he speed up time while sitting in his school classroom. Unless his school was suddenly swallowed by a black hole or shot into space at greater than light speed, time is not going to be speeded up or slowed down except by his perception of it.

I think there was one scientist named Kozyrev who concluded it was possible to effect the flow of time within a small area without gravity. In theory, it should be possible to do with magic. Considering you are in school, however, I would suggest you spent your time there learning.

A point was made that time is constant. I dissagreed with that point, stated so and provided evidense to support myself. The black hole thing was just an example. My point was perfectly contributional to the topic because it shows that the consitency of time by universal law is not constant. Openening the topic to more indepth discussion.
