I'm not positive of the benefits of pollen in honey. But i do know local honey will help allergies because of the local pollen. I use a lot of honey for wine and typically try and buy it from a local farm.

I always buy local organic, so I am not bothered by this. I understand your concern, however.

wow, freaky, i didn't know that. i'm Canadian, so i'm not as concerned about American, also i not only buy my honey from farmers in my area, i have friends who have bees. that being said, how are they manufacturing honey? secondly now that my countries leader just made a big trade agreement with China they better not be touching my honey!!! i'm sorry, i love bees and i love honey. if you feel so strongly about it, start a petition in your town, write up a report showing the facts about it, and try to ban non pollen honey in your town/city.
