Observations On Chat

I sit back shaking my head, knowing some will never learn. For sometimes people must learn with the help of others, but I see it in the chat, most do not wish to help others, they tell them find it themselves. They laugh at people who come to lear, yes I know you should have some knowledge when coming to this site, but to just say google to 98% of the questions asked, by people. Listen I thought this site was for learning? From others who have knowledge to help others learn. So why is this site even existing if no one wants to help others learn? I try my best to help, again research is very wise to do, but to be referred to google, google, google, ok so why have this site if google is where people on this site tell people to go. Look if more people would share what they know to others, and if the others do not comprhend it still, then google, but to almost immediately say "google" that's sad. I have a philosophy that is very relevant it goes like this, "There's 7 billion people on this planet for a reason that reason is to help one another, survive." Well to "survive" you got to have knowledge, right? You have to learn from other people. For example a parent is to teach his/her child what is right what is wrong. How is that valid? Well it shows that a person teaching another person. No if someone doesn't teach that chaild, there's several possibilities of what would happen.

The child will grow up not knowing rigt and wrong, and very likely do something that is wrong and pay dearly for it, such as stealing something, they didn't know for no one told them stealing was wrong, but now there in jail doing ten years for burglery.

So this is valid. Respond to it if you wish.

Often the questions in the chatter are the same questions over and over. Instead of looking into a subject someone will want all the answers right then. And sometimes they don't like the answers that they get, or aren't interested in the knowledge others have to share.

I, for one, do not support spoon feeding answers. If it is a basic question I would rather redirect them to somewhere where it's already been written out than keep regurgitating the same stale answers over and over again.

I am not the kind of person to want to teach everyone everything, but when asked, I will answer the most *cough* basic *cough* of questions lol. If there is a good discussion going on, I can see the point in people not wanting to answer every little repeat question. However when people have the time to go off on someone for being "fluffy" I tend to question why they refuse to help the issue. Why come here at all if not to teach and learn. I doubt things will ever chang though so you might as well stop posting about it. I know I am not bothering to comment on it afer this >.>

I have no problem answering questions. But, i am not a personal adviser that's going to hold your hand the whole time, all the way through. Many times the question has been asked before, even by the same person in the same fifteen minutes. In this case i just shut up and hope they take previously offered advice.

If the question is absolutely ridiculous, i'm not going to answer it. We can't answer every idiotic question in chat, that's what the forums are for apparently.

Thanks Zalkari for opening this issue,,sometimes I feel myself stupid by asking weird question and because of my lack of knowledge I used to ask many times and I believe it's irritating matter to the knowledgable people sometimes. Then I ve learn lesson to search for my answers alone,,there are people really helpful, but not always they have patience to answer to same question all over again :-) and I understood that there is a right help for right people...with my mentality and lack of good expression I ve got an answer shut up and bug off once, lol but I didn't get upset- I ve just learn that,we beginners need to gain more info by our own...or someone should post and article of simple rules and tools from A to Z for the beginners to read before to come to any conclusions and to more solid questions

I came here looking for knowledge. I was ignored, told look it up. I didn't know where to start. So now I went with instinct. Now I can be considered a fluffy to some, others would say strange. So ingnoring me when I asked, eventually made me a "fluffy", even though I wouldn't consider myself one, you created the fluffiness. I needed help and help others. When they sem like no help in the world can xhange theirmind stop. But help the ones who are lost and can be helped.

Also people just consider me a fluffy I'm not, so stop treating me like one.

I agree with what Zalkari is saying but there is a difference between being spoon fed and being told answers. People going on the chatter asking what the basics are and wanting a detailed explanation are bound to be ignored, why dont people try making a thread after checking google (alot of people never even try this), or asking if people know where information can be found on chatter.

very well said zalkari. If people do not want to answer a question then do not answer at all, but instead they will reply with rather a cheeky comment. Everyone is supposed to be "love and light" on this page but sometimes they are hard to find.

Yes, I am not saying "spoon feed" and no one is obligated to answer anyone. I'm just stating observations I have made. Yes you should research yourself on somethings, but I have read the Newbie forums and they do not explain much. Basics, yes you should have some knowledge, but as you see, I stated it clear, direct, and to the point. It would be nice to not always hit the "search google" for it also sends the message, "your questions are a waste of time, do not bother us, we will not teach you, you are on your own." You may not intend for that but 7 out of 10 times people more than likely take it that way. I know it's not good to "spoon feed" but it's also not always is it good to send the message, "teach yourself we are not going to take the time to help you. Some get upset that the same questions are asked, but look you have to realize not everyone knows what you know. Like I said there's 7 billion people on this planet for a reason that reason is to help one another, survive." Well to "survive" you got to have knowledge, right? You have to learn from other people. I gave even an example of what happens if one isn't educated from another. Now research is essential, but not everyone learns the same way, and some have to learn from others, some can read things and be fine, some can be self taught, some need all three, but what I see here is people forget, not everyone learns the same. Not everyone is the same, not everyone thinks the same.

This sight is about NO LABELS I have met all sexuality's and all races and all religions here communing perfectly, then I see the MODS and the High Priests and Priestess going around calling people fluffies just because not all of us have the talent to write a spell, or all of the answers. In turn I call you fluffies you have years sometimes decades of knowledge and you still go around calling people fluffies because YOU are not willing to share the answers. And what is wrong with Google don't pretend that a good half of you haven't gotten hundreds of good answers to burning questions from Google. I have gotten better answers from Google than all of the 'Knowledgeable's' and the 'contributors' and the 'Council members' put together. Go ahead gag me mods. I had the brains and the heart and the courage to say what we were all thinking.
