MY GUITAR

I play guitar, and I'm ok at it. Over the years, I've had numerous guitars and never even thought of enchanting one. But now I want to establish a connection between myself and my new guitar. I want to feel it, to understand it and, hopefully, have it feel and understand me. I want to be able to project my thoughts and emotions through this guitar. Does anyone have experience with a working like this?

You can certainly display your emotions through your guitar! The guitar and the violin are the only musical instruments that can play the same notes and chords as a piano! They are already "enchanted".

Further: Listen to recordings of the great classical guitarists. Especially Andre Segovia. The emotion "pours" from his fingers!

TRUTH! Maybe that's why I never felt the need to enchant one. When I play, once I've found where I want to play, it seems as though those chords and scales just run on their own, and I feel and hear great energy.
Are you a pianist? If so, is it true that the piano has sharps and flats between b and c and e and f (the guitar doesn't)? So when a friend of mine mentioned c flat on the piano, I was surprised.

I'm not a pianist, I am a guitarist. The piano has the same sharps and flats as the guitar. There are none between b and c, or e and f.

C flat is the same as b. B sharp is the same as c.

This is nonsense! A C and a B are whole notes,a sharp or a flat is a half note. You want to know the difference? Look at a piano keyboard. The black keys are the sharps and flats. There is no black key between C and B. Or E and F.

As you play your guitar, you are putting your essence into it already. I've played about 50 years, and I know from feel what belongs to me, and what is meant for me. You will connect and it will connect every time you play..
