It's probably best if you self educate, their are plenty of e-books on the topic, I can imagine.

I have never been educated in scrying, and haven't done much research into how it works for others, but when I fall asleep in a state of meditation in place/around others I am familiar with, I will have many indicators in my dream. When I wake up, I can see double vision(what I see in reality and in my mind at the same time) about the familar person/ place. With the double visions, it usually works when the loved one is present at a familiar place. I will warn you, do not make a habit of doing this, it is a very draining process. I have experienced this since I was six, when my pysologist taught me meditation to ease my ADHD and ODD. Since then, when that happens, it can come unexpectedly, and even if it is expected, it is vivid, flashy, and usually disorienting.

Scrying. To me it is watching something simply take form, gazing into or at an object. It has happened to me many times, but half the time it wasn't really at will, but more like divine intervention, one can call it. I should actually call it a vision when it happens out of the blue. Scrying is an excellent medium for knowledge.

I don't know how I started scrying, but it just naturally came to me. I do not think I even had the slightest idea I was scrying when I looked into an opaque object, then to see seething take form.

The times that I actually saw something take form, there were a few things in common. The energy levels were high. I was calm, cool and collected. And I gazed and knew something was up.

Well, sleep deprivation seems to work best, and it absolutely works well for me. Not just for scrying, when sleep deprived and if I am tuned, my sixth senses are more keen. Alcohol doesn't help me scry, but seemingly only with clairaudience and alcohol does greatly magnify the energy levels in one's home. The MaryJane, as a tool for my mediumship, one can put it, helps with a lot of things in my path.

One time I scried into the clouds, after staying up all night. I had a beautiful view of these mountains. I lived in Anchorage at the time. I stayed up all night. As soon as after the sum rose, from out of the east, above some mountains in rolling clouds I had a vision. There I was, sitting on the couch. I saw what seemed to be (because that is what I simply was getting) the Christian god sitting on His throne. My heart began to pound, bc of who I saw in the clouds. I knew I had to keep focus to see the rest of the formation. The god appeared to be the Father, pointing at me with His right hand, and as He is lifting up His hand to point, there comes these great men on horses. The Father god really reminded me of something like Zeus off of Hercules the cartoon. Because when I saw Him, He was big in comparison to the men on horseback. What appeared to be great men on horse seemed to be simply charging in my direction, after me.

That was an intense scrying experience. What does it mean? What does it fortell? I think the images one will get varies in detail, but one thing is for certain that only the scryer truly knows what he or she just saw and what it means.

I wouldn't worry about scrying, but asking yourself the question will open other doorways. I would simply focus on your mantras and your meditations.

The best way I can describe what it is like to scry is just focus. I use that inner force and focus. I have never used a crystal ball to scry, but I have a black amethyst crystal ball that I believe pulls the undying truth out when I hold it. I haven't really practiced, but it just comes when it does. I guess it depends where you put your mind and what it is that your scrying on. It could be off fire, steam, clouds, a crystal ball, a stone slab, the swirls in your coffee or anything with like an opaque texture to it. Interesting, and interestingly enough, the only times when I did successfully scry is when I wanted an answer to something, yet I didn't always intently look for something to scry off of for that answer. I am not an expert, so don't ask me. I just have stories and tips here and there.

I read your post and I do have one qwuestion for you. Does the tool have to be a smooth opague material or can be in nature itself? I have found that I go into "staring fits" when outside. It could be if I am sitting in a park or just outside in the parking lot. Alot of things come to mind with me when that happens.

The original poster has not been on the website since November 2013, I don't think they will be able to answer your questions.

One can scry in many different ways. There are so many methods to scry with. Water, clouds as was mentioned above. Black mirrors are quite popular. Continue your research, find method you like.
