Dispose of spell material

I would like to get your opinion of the method of disposing tools and remains used during spell works.

I have always been told, and read, that burial, burning or thrown in a natural water source are the best methods of disposal.

During a recent visit to my local spiritual shop, The Haitian owner and practitioner, claimed that it is absolutely fine to dispose of the items used during casting in the trash with the rest of the garbage, as the work has been done and the remains/tools have no use any more.
That took me by surprise, as it went against everything I have read or been told.

What do you guys think of the subject? and do you dispose of your remains and/or tools after you have completed your works?

:)

I dont know much but I can never have courage to throw anything that has ever helped me.

In my culture we dont even throw rough papers that we have used for solving maths sums :D

IMO, dont throw... just let it go in some clean source of water like river(if allowed) or sea :)
