tingling hands

I went to college and found that I liked religion. To me it explained a persons behavior. I have one Bible (I've read it), I am currently reading the Koran. When I picked up my first wiccan book (I have 6 of these), my hands started to tingle and my palms started to sweat. This also happens when I light incense, touch herbs, light candles or go into a graveyard I also smell perfume in the graveyard?). This does not happen when I touch the Biblen or Koran. If I put my hands together I get a squishy ball the size of a softball. If my husband puts his hand between mine he can feel pressure. Am I nuts or do I need a medicine change?
