Cleaning house

My home (shared with 4 other girls) tends to kind of gunk up with a lot of negative energy and spiritually blocking crap, so I frequently clean it out. I figured with the New Year approaching waaaaayyy too quickly, it might be helpful to some with similar gunk problems to post this cleaning spell :)

Materials:
Brooms/besoms/dusters
Salt
Sage (burnable)
Juniper (burnable)
Upbeat music (I like using Gangnam Style...just saying...)

Make sure to purify yourself before working this spell - either take a spiritual bath or drink some salt water. Then go ahead and sprinkle the salt around your home, and use this time to invoke a protective deity of your choice (ei. St. Michael). Feel free to use a chant of your choice, but it should be something to this effect:

St. Michael, hear me.
Protect my home,
clear this space -
return it to my own
with your heavenly grace.

Make sure to get into the corners of every room, any troubling spots you may feel, and heavily trafficked areas (living rooms, kitchens, hallways). The salt is going to absorb all that negative crap, and then it's time for the fun part! Grab a broom, keep the sage burning, and while jamming out to that upbeat song you picked, sweep the salt out of your house. Start from the farthest part and work your way to the front door. Again, feel free to insert your own chant here, but it should be something to this effect:

This space is mine,
this home my own,
if you mean me harm,
get out and find your own!

Once all the salt has been swept out and the sage burned down, go ahead and fill up the space with the juniper, and your personal intent for happiness and harmony within your home.
