I need dream advice

For about four years I've been having these nightmares and they always seem to have this one constant re-occurance.
In most of them I'm running away from a large snarling wolf that seems hell bent on tearing me apart. Sometimes, I AM the wolf chasing something, desperately trying to catch it. And other times I see the wolf walking around at night, searching for me.I see it walking down my street or in my backyard. I always know its coming for me. (Sometimes, these are the scariest.) Everytime I have these nightmares I wake up covered in sweat. Sometimes I wake up screaming. Once I even ripped my bed sheet from running in my sleep so hard.
I hope it doesn't sound like I'm crazy. I know these dreams aren't normal. I'd really like some help figuring it out, because I like to get some rest for once, ya know?

Dreams are sort of messages from our soul .If a dream is reoccurring ,that means message is that important so it is worth reliving it again .They probably will not stop till you do not debunk its meaning and take the right actions .

Wolves are pack animals ,they rarely are wondering on their one .
Think of your relations with your family and people around you .
Do you go well with them or you are lonely wolf sort off ?
Did someone betrayed your trust and loyalty ?
Do you have problems with physical and emotional bullies or you are one ?If there is emotional issue of this sort your anger and your sense for survival surfaces in the shape of Wolf .It appears as if you are trapped in constant circle of fear anger which is present in situation what has to do with .You probably supress this anger and fear ,but they are finding your way to make themselves known .You fear the Wolf that comes to hunt you (the emotional or physical bully) ,but in same time you want to make this person feel same way and that is why you became wolf .
So it becomes closed circle of fear ,anger and rage .You probably try to supress this anger deep down in the murky waters of subconscious ,but it is there and it is hunting you .
Also Wolves are smart they tend to work in groups and chase the prey till full exhaustion not given it any way to escape ,and it same time they make themselves known very clearly so they can spook the prey .Does that feeling seems familiar to you either being the prey or the wolf ?It is interesting that you play both roles ,I think in the one you are the prey you are the victim and in same time you supress your anger and vengeance ,because your morals stop you .But soon or late this predator in you will get to free if you do not deal with this issue we can not take fear ,horror and pain forever before you explode and snap out .
I had similar dreams but what was chasing me was my shadow .I never could escape from it but it could not catch me either .I refused to accept my dark side ,because my morals and the dreams kept repeating .And sometimes after so much chasing ,pain and fear I would become a monster without a shadow seeking vengeance .Dreams kept reoccurring till I did not realized my own anger issues and my fear to be myself to not be rejected and abandoned .Once I resolved this issues the dreams stopped .You may want to start working with shadow magick(the Shadow Self ) or seek councelling help .

Wolf:
To see a wolf in your dream symbolizes survival, beauty, solitude, mystery, self-confidence and pride. You are able to keep your composure in a variety of social circumstances and blend into any situation with ease and grace. You are also a loner by choice. Negatively, the wolf represents hostility, aggression, or sneakiness. It may reflect an uncontrollable situation or an all-consuming force in your life. This could point to an obsession, an addiction or something that is beyond your control.

Chase:
To dream that you are being chased signifies that you are avoiding a situation that you do not think is conquerable. It is a metaphor for some form of insecurity. In particular, to dream that you are chased by an animal represents your own unexpressed and unacknowledged anger which is being projected onto that animal. Alternatively, you may be running away from a primal urge or fear.

To dream that you are chasing someone signifies that you are attempting to overcome a difficult goal or task. You may also be expressing some aggressive feelings toward others.
To see a white wolf in your dream signifies valor and victory. You have the ability to see the light even in your darkest hours. To see a black wolf in your dream represents your shadow. There are characteristics of the wolf that you are refusing to acknowledge or incorporate into your Self.

To dream that you kill a wolf indicates betrayal. Certain secrets will be revealed to you. If you are being chased by a wolf in your dream, thenit implies that you are unwilling to confront a problem that has been negatively impacting your life. Instead you are running away from it.

To hear a wolf howling in your dream represents a cry for help from somebody in your waking life.

hope i helped! :)

I would like to add one thing to these other good posts, the wolf could be your shadow totem. A shadow totem is like a average animal totem, except it is of an animal that scares you or makes you think of anger or fear. The wolf in your dream is scaring you and the main reason that I think that it is your shadow totem is because you sometimes see through the wolf's eyes which sometimes mean that you have to accept that negative aspect and learn how to control it in your life. This is just my opinion though it is up to you to say if this feels like the answer or another answer fits better with your situation.
