Blank Card in your Tarot

Other than the fact that there are sheet that print out 80 cards and the makers just throw in the other two blank cards in the deck, what else is there too it? I am not asking why they do it, but how would you use it in your readings?

I think I have found the answer with my research, but I want to hear what you guys might think about it.

Possibly in the same way "wyrd" is used in rune divination.
The unknown principle.

You are right on that, the Blank Card is the same as the Blank Rune. There might be a connection, but since Runes and Tarot are different (even though they are used the same way) and there might be different meanings on the two. But thank you for pointing that out, very helpful.

I think it would come down to what you wish to attribute it to.

the only tarot deck that i have ever encountered what would be a blank card inis my osho zen deck and it has a card called "nothingness" and it represents the idea that nothingness has the potential to create anything.

The point of an entirely blank deck is so that you can create your own. I didn't know about the use of a blank card or two, thanks.

Alright, I haven't heard anything new yet but you all do bring up some good points.

Yes the blank card can be anything you want it to be. Heck some Tarot Decks give you room to draw your own pictures and symbols. This is one of the ways you can use the extra card.

Yes, the card can mean nothingness. But what is nothingness? What do you mean by that? If you have a deep understanding of what nothingness really is than you can use that too.

The thing is, since the Blank Card never really started when Tarot was made (not when it was first made in existence but when it was started to be used this way) there isn't a right answer to how to use the Blank Card. "It's only true if you want it to be the truth." So there is no right answer or wrong answer, whatever works best for you is the right answer to you because you believe that to be the truth.

Is having a blank card common in tarot decks?? Because I honestly got t'say, I don't think I've ever gotten a blank tarot card. I think there might have been on card that just had information about the deck, but that's about it.

I wish I had a blank card.
