Casting your circle!

Yer sorry about the not-to-good title :/ the letters ran out so I had to cut it short. But yes, it is about casting your spell and ritual circle ^_^ this helped me so much so I hoped it would help you too! Please enjoy it and farewell.

All you need is a white pillar candle. Whether it be scented or not, it doesn't matter. Anyways, here's the rest of it!

If you have one (although you don't need one so don't panic ;P) set your altar in the center of a clean area (I mean clean as in nothing is in the area, if it's rocks, sticks or furniture) If not, simply sit/kneel/stand on the floor in the center of a cleared area. Light your white candle. Imagine a circle of white light around you and your altar.

Face North and say: (if you dont know which way it is, i suggest a compass or to ask someone who knows)
“Hail to the guardians of the North, mighty earth who feeds us, our home and mother, welcome to the circle.”

Next, face East and say:
“Hail to the guardians of the East, blessed air who cools us, the breath of life in all, welcome to the circle.”

Next, face the South and say:
“Hail to the guardians of the South, sacred flame that sparks life in all, our protection and father, welcome to the circle.”

Finally, face the West and say:
“Hail to the guardians of the West, Waters of life, where all are cleansed and reborn, welcome to the circle.”

Start your ritual or spell WITHIN the prepared circle. At the end of your doing, face the West and say:
“Hail to the guardians of the West, thank you for attending this circle. Go in peace and know you are always welcome here.”

Face the South and say:
“Hail to the guardians of the South, thank you for attending this circle. Go in peace and know you are always welcome here.”

Face the East and say:
“Hail to the guardians of the East, thank you for attending this circle. Go in peace and know you are always welcome here.”

Face the North and say:
“Hail to the guardians of the North, thank you for attending this circle. Go in peace and know you are always welcome here.”

The circle is now broken and your spell work complete. At this time, snuff your candles and do any parts of the spell that require you to leave the circle (burying an item, scattering the ashes etc.)

And there you have it :) now you know how to prepare a circle, I suggest you go out and try it ^_^ have fun and blessed be!

P.S how did your circle go? did it make your magick stronger? comment and share if you want!

I usually cast the circle and then call the corners to create a sacred space within the circle. But then again I am weird. You can cast the circle simply by gathering and placing energy in a ring around you with the intent to protect you or something else. You can use a wand, athame (butter knife if you don't have one), or just your finger. Add that with some visualization and energy manipulation.

In my opinion, the method of circle creation largely depends upon what you are using it for.

If you are just clearing ritual space it may be different than if you are creating a circle for evocation.
