Qi Gong

Everyone (or almost) on this site is trying to do psi balls. Which is understandable; they are really cool. I understand that people have been having trouble with this. Well try this. It is called Qi Gong. You use your chi (or psi energy) with physical movements to bring out your chi. ie: bringing your arms up and then down to your sides and imagining your chi following your movements inside your body. It is really easy to do. Just remember to make your movements flow and imagine or visualize your chi moving with your arms and legs. Not only will this help with your psi ball but it will teach you balance and coordination. It makes your chi or psi energy as some call it move and flow inside your body. I have been doing this for about 6 months and I can make shapes with my energy like swords and whips. If you do this for 10 minutes a day you should feel results within a month depending on how strong your chi is. Email me for any question regarding this post. Am willing to teach aspects of this too.

Actually, chi and psi are completely different. Chi is a bodily energy. There are three forms each residing in one of the three Dan Tiens. Psi is a mental energy. You can't make a psi ball. It just doesn't make sense because of it's nature. Chi balls however, are a concept in Qigong but it's a VERY advanced practice and takes decades of practice. Also, qigong is not something you can just learn from the Internet or a book. You actually need an instructor in order to properly learn. Also, chi balls in qigong aren't what you think. First, they take a really long time to make. It is said that the ideal speed that one should do a qigong exercise is that of a flower opening. This isn't an exageration. A real master could spend a whole day doing an exercise I only spend fifteen minutes on. Plus, you're not supposed to throw it through a wall or anything. Each form commences with makeing the ball and ends by obsorbing it back. The point is to circulate the chi. The ancient Chinese realised that stagnant water bred disease while flowing water was drinkable and did not. They reckoned that stagnant chi was also unhealthy and devised a set of exercises to help circulate it. That's how qigong first started.

Well that is all good and well but I can make chi into a ball and throw it. I am not saying my chi is all powerful but I can do certain things with it. Like Reiki healing (sorry if I misspelled) and forming it into shapes. I am not saying the ancient people are wrong but I am saying they didn't have all the information. Chi is much more than just breaking boards and moving it inside your body. As for you psi reply yeah I agree. I don't know why people call chi that. But some do for some reason.

Qi- universal life energy and Gong- Great effort or focus. Qi Gongwas and still isused for many and was once upon a time only availible to the noble or high class in China. Qi Gong is actualy widely used in China so much so that they have that only use medical Qi Gong. Qi Gong can even be used to push the limits of the human body so I say if you do the exercise right you can do what you will.

Blessed Be

I agree with perrych complitely .First psi is different than chi to my knowledge and according all i have read .Second to master your chi to that degree you must have spent years and years training all day along .To just come here and decide you will teach folks qi gong in few sentences is not very wise at all .Plus the idea behind chi is not shaping itbut making it flow around you .Qi gong is healing discipline which accompany the internal martial arts ,last ones are passive mainly .That mean they use their chi to push away the enemy not to harm it .In fact they make the chi flow as water and water is shapeless ,that is its advantage .Anbd again idea behind chi balls is not attacking with it but just learning how to control the flow .Qi gong is form of moving meditation .And that is part of the phylosophy behind it ,however each and every master can decide to ignore the phylosophy and indeed harm when attacked .

If chi is just "flow" then why are my techniques working. I can shape my chi into whips and swords. Believe me or don't DO NOT CALL ME UNWISE. I consider it rude. I am sorry if people on this site are close or narrow-minded. That is them. I choose to believe anything is possible. My chi grows stronger each day. I feel it inside me. So please don't tell me what I am doing is impossible cause I AM doing it. This world is more magical than we think. Not everything can be explained with science. Deal with it.

The only narrow -minded person here i am afraid is you ,since you expect us to forget all we have read and practiced just because you said so you can do it .Care to give me some proof oram i obligated to just believe you blindly ?Calling people narrow minded just because they decided to not believe you is as well unwise in my opinion .Yes unfortunatelly for you i still can have opinion .I will rather believe on phylosophy behind the martial art i practice rather than the word of a stranger .

And just to add ,because our expert forget that crucial part too .You should sinhron the breath with your movements ,as you should inhale when you lift your arms and then exhale while bringing them down .You also should stay in position called opening stance ,with slightly bend knees ,feet forward with straight back and loose shoulders .For all people who aim to learn something actually from this thread i will say that breathing and postures are extremly important and also keeping the ground path .Sadly Echanter18forgot to mention here any posture or tehchique for breathing ,thus folks get the impression that the only thing they need to do is move their arms up and down and ignore any posture and breathing .Also any experienced martial artist ,yogi and even advanced magician knows that the right way to breath is crucial when it come to gathering energy .The best way to breath doing all this practices is using your belly .Something which i can assure you is not that easy .Right way of breatening is also important while doing meditation and the posture too ,and as i said qi gong is movin meditation (yest you still need to keep full cordination of all parts of your body ,breath correct and keep the ground path which will make you in balance and stable )
