Offerings to Pan?
By: / Beginner
Would anybody be able to give me some advice or talk about past experience with what are good offerings to Pan? Just general offerings, objects, incense, or rituals/acts of offerings would be appreciated, anything you might know about offering to Pan.

Additionally, if you happen to know any of Pan's epithets, those too would be greatly appreciated.

Blessed Be,

  • Wind instruments such as pan pipes, flutes, etc. (He plays the pipes.)
  • Nets you could make out of yarn or string. (He helped Zeus battle
    Typhoeus using nets.)
  • Statues of Saytrs and goats. (As they would somewhat resemble them.
  • Statues of Hermes and Dionysus. (Hermes thought to be his father and Dionysus his friend as he is seen with him a lot.)
  • Singing or playing of any instrument as he enjoys music.
  • He is said to have musical contests with Apollon so a picture of the two might be cool. Like a battle of the bands type thing.
  • As he is a nature deity, why not flowers? General and basic I know.

There are Hymns if you ctrl f and type in the word hymn into the little box at the bottom left that pops up.
