IT is interpreting symbols in dreams. Like if you have a dream about losing all of your teeth, you may have fears about your self image.

There isn't really one way to interpret dreams. You just have to be able to interpret metaphors in a way.

You know the meaning of your own dreams.

Whatever is in the dream is you...you are talking to yourself.

So every person you see and the stuff you do ...is you....

Thor,in dreams you can talk with the divine or with another entities.

When you interpret your dreams you try to find the meaning of the symbols which are in it.

Symbols have different meanings. They can warn you about people around or "send you a message" about what is going to happen or "show" you problems from your life etc.

I can give you an example:My grand-mother had an awful dream about my grandpa before he died.

dreams are personal, so its best if you interpret them, as you might love snakes, but a generic interpretation would come back negative. its good to learn about the history of psychoanalysis and pick up a book with some interpretations to help you, but ultimately, you should have a 'feel' for what the dream means. the subconscious works in symbols, so don't expect it to come right out and say 'your best friend is trying to steal you boyfriend' [example] you will see a fox tricking you into things and getting hurt. [again, example]

above all, keep in mind not every dream is cause for alarm. dreams can be fun, and a lot of the time they are. sometimes a dream is reoccurring or so vivid, you can't ignore it. in these instances the dream should be looked into, but take it as a guide, not an omen.
