Is it a sign?

A month ago, I bought two new pet snakes, and pretty soon after that I've felt incredibly connected to nature and have had dreams of being a necromancer.
I think it is one snake in particular, one of my favorite colour morphs, and she's been acting attached to me as well; her eye colour has become greener over time as well.
Do you think that she may be my spirit animal or spirit guide? If so, could the dreams and the feelings be connected to the path she wishes me to take?

Yes, It could definitely be a sign. If you feel very connected to her, perhaps she could be your familiar. I have never really had one but I know people who have. Make a dream journal of all your dreams. Also, serpents represent wisdom, perhaps by recording your dreams and such, you will learn something important, i am not a expert on signs and the like but my gut is telling me there is definitely something going on between you to. You are truly blessed. blessed be

Wow chances are yes, it is a sign. However what feeling do you get when you touch her, talk to her, or hagn out with her? What are your thoughts? Also there are many ways to see if she is your spirit animal, ask the godsand tell them to show u a sign, then wait. Or ask her and see her reaction. Either way try taking up the oath and see how it feels. Blessed be :-)

Also remember that often reptiles aren't at their happiest at the pet store, since space is limited and the diet isn't as varied as it could be. When they're in a happier place, such as being in the loving care of someone who gives plenty of space and a good diet, their mood and health improve, and their colors can sometimes brighten. Both our bearded dragons and our fringed gecko became brighter after they were brought home.

I'm not saying your experience means nothing. But the snake's eye color could definitely be a reflection that it is in an environment it enjoys, which could also lead to a better connection between you.

I would also like to add that reptiles don't have a as developed brain as a dog or cat, so they don't really have 'connections' with people.

Thank you all for your responses!

CraCraIzzy, When I hold her I feel calm and centered, something rare for me. My breathing pattern is normal, and I don't stutter or shake like I normally would if I was holding my other snakes. Also, as soon as I set her back in her cage I feel really shaky and cold, as if I'm loosing body heat. I also feel very paranoid, which is normal for me due to my illness, and it seems as if the peace of holding her is short-lived. Whenever I open her cage I always see her acting like a goof and she always makes me smile.

Nokturn, I will definitely do that. I've had a big open space in my Book of Shadows for a while, so I might as well track them.

NobodyAtAll, I have taken her outside when it was warm, and she loved it. The only bad thing was she tried to climb up a sapling and I noticed a hawk eying her, so I had to bring her back in.

Also, Nugias, My reptiles have very strong ties with me. I get guests quite a lot, and my snakes will remain immobile if someone other than me tries to hold them. They also will not eat if anyone other than me tries to feed them [I have tried this, with my dad, grandma and mom.] Plus, some snakes know how to open doors and open up cabinets, so they're pretty smart. My snakes are also smarter than my cats, My cats will run into walls and one of my snakes almost opened up their cage when I was heating up mice for their dinner.

Lizards in general, but particularly snakes, are a lot smarter then most give them credit for. in the sense of being an animal, they are no different from warm-blooded mammals. They run on instinct, and adapt to their environment, and even make connections with people just like dogs and cats.

My personal Spirit Animal happens to be a White Tiger, and my Familiar happens to be my stripped Tabby, Amelia.

I asked her if she was my familiar whilst holding her, and her grip on me tightened and a few seconds later she stopped moving [which is odd, she loves to wander] and I heard a ring in the back of my mind that sounded very much like a 'yes'. The only question I have is, how do I 'summon' her when I need her away from my house? I can't carry a Ball Python everywhere, especially since it's getting cold out.

When away form each other, all you need to summon is her energy, her spirit. Simply reopen that feeling you got when holding her, and her energy, when needed, should come flowing into you. Almost like working with spirit guardians, or spirit familiars.
