Uses for Foxglove

I'd like if people could list or tell me of brews, ointments, oils potpourri, ritual uses and spells for the foxglove I'm growing it in my garden and am well aware that it is a deadly poison and should not be ingested, inhale when burning, or touched with bare skin.

Foxglove (fox being a misnomer for 'folk' as in fae folk, not foxes) is a sacred druidic herb associated with a variety of things. There are uses, all of which are risky, considering the poisonous nature of the plant. In fact, a derivative of the plant is used in some heart medications, but I digress. The safest magickal use for foxglove is simply to grow it around one's home for protection. I am hesitant to suggest anything else, considering the physical risks involved.

Foxglove is not exactly "deadly", that would take a large amount! But it can make you ill.It is Digitalis, and is used for heart conditions. It is a lovely flower, and I have quite a few in my garden.Magical/ Well, all plants are magical.

Nobodyatall, the common foxglove has many names. And the name "folksglove" comes from the early Botanist, Fuchs. In parts of the UK the flower is known as Bloody Finger. The word Digitalis means "finger like", because the mature flower fits easily over your finger. Nevertheless, the flowers would make rather nice gloves for a fox! Wouldn't you say?
Some of my Pagan friends call the flowers "fairy bells".
