Creation

Merry Meet )O(

I would like to know a brief explanation of your believe of creation and how everything came to existence.

- Leland asserted that he had found a witch in the Tuscan mountains of Italy near Siena. That he proposed survived there from ancient times. He based his work on a manuscript known as the Vangelo Delle Streghe (Gospel of Witches) That he said given to him by a women called Maddalena, whether this individual existed or not is a moor point.

The Vangelo is considered to be fraudulent by modern historians. Whether Maddalena and Leland was the culprit continues to be debated. All scholars agree that Leland's claims on ancient lineage of Witchcraft have no basis, in fact some Wiccan's attitude about the work are varied. Some believe it to be true, others see that while it may be forgery, this doesn't necessarily undermine it's value as a creation myth or as a source for Wiccan rituals.

The Vagelo contains an allegorical creation story called How Diana made the stars and the rain.

I quote from the Vangelo:

" Diana was first created before all creation. In her were all things"

" Out of herself... she divided herself. Into darkness and light she was divided. Lucifer, her brother and son, herself and her other half was the light"

" And Diana saw that the light was sobeautiful, the light which was her other half, her brother Lucifer, She yearned for it with exceeding great desire. Wishing to receive the light again into her darkness, to swallow it up in rapture, in delight, she trembled with desire. This desire was the dawn. but Lucifer, the light, fled from her and would not yield to her wishes, he was the light which flies into the most distant parts of heaven, the mouse which flies before the cat"

" Diana therefore consulted with the Fathers of the beginning as well as the mothers, the spirits who were before the spirit, and lamented that she could not prevail with Lucifer, She was advised that to rise she must fall, to become the chief of goddesses, she must first become mortal. Diana took the form of a cat and manifested on the material plane to become as one with the God. At first Lucifer was angry, so to maintain union of creative forces and his love She hummed a song, it was as the buzzing of bees. she spun the lives of all men, all things were spun from the wheel of Diana, Lucifer turned the wheel.

So Diana provided vibratory energy (the song) whilst he provided spinning motion by turning the wheel. They gave the universe form and movement; the vibratory energy created the structures and was complimented by a spinning force.

Together the Goddess and God can be seen to be the essential nature of existence.

Divine: Eternal in truth- Visions, Miracles, Soul, resurrection and prophecies.

Material: Illusion.

Within my belief, it is believed there was nothing. This nothing was known as Ginungagap. It rested between the two worlds known as Muspelheim (the land of fire) and Niflheim (the land of ice.)

Muspelhiem and Niflhiem continued to crept toward each other until they met in Ginnungagap. When they finally made contact, our sputtered a giant known as Ymir. Ymir was a hermaphrodite and could produce asexually. As the frost from Niflheim continued to melt, a cow emerged. Her name was Audhumbla. She nourished Ymir with her milk and in turn was nourished with the salt-licks in the ice. Her licks slowly uncovered Buri, the first of the Aesir tribe of the gods. Buri had a sone named Bor, who married Bestla, the daughter of the giant Bolthorn. The half-god, half giant children of Bor and Bestla were Odin, who became the chief of the Aesir gods, and his two brothers, Vili and Ve.

Odin and his brothers slew Ymir and set about constructing the world from his corpse. They fashioned the oceans from his blood, the soil from his skin and muscles, vegetation from his hair, clouds from his brains, and the sky from his skull. Four Dwarves, corresponding to the four cardinal points, held Ymir's skull aloft above the earth.

The gods eventually formed the first man and woman, Ask and Embla, from two tree trunks. They set them on Midgard to protect them from the giants.

I needed a little help remembering all this, so here's the source:

Many people have different views about how we came to be. There's evolution, the Christian god, and so much more. I suppose it just depends on who believes what

And tirbeh evolution is the living being possibility to adapt from generation to generation, if your referring to the scientific theory than it is the theory of relativity (aka E=Mc2) or as Steven Hawkins has recently simplified it just E as Mc2 is not the way to get or calculate E but is E (E means energy in physics incase anyone didn't already know that)

I believe that we are no less or more of an important part of the Universe than any other planet with life on it. With a Universe so very large and ever expanding, it would be purely illogical to think Earth is the only planet with life. I'm not talking aliens, I'm talking living creatures -- plants, animals, insects, etc. I'm sure they are just as stuck in their galaxy looking up at the stars wondering like we do.

I also believe we are no more important than any other living thing on our planet. Of the many galaxies, and as each one dies and new ones are born, it's obvious that we are merely one tiny speck of creation and that "creation" is in an ever continuing cycle with destruction. It goes by so slowly we don't really see it. The only reason we know about it is through our ancestors--oral tradition and record keeping. Well, now astronomers are finding new ways to see it. But that's very very new! And extremely exciting. I love astronomy--truly breathtaking and beautiful.

The Universe is the true "Grandparent" as the Earth is our "Mother". Our Mother will one day die and along with Her everything living on Earth.

The Universe continues to expand and spirit continues to be born, live, die, and be reborn throughout it all. The Universe is eternal, spirit is eternal, creation is temporary. The Cycle is key. It is prevalent in everything in Nature from the tiniest single celled organism to the enormous Universe itself. Creation never stops, therefore it didn't "happen" but it is happening constantly all around us.

That's my belief.

Buddhist no believe in creation or end of creation. We believe everything has always been, and always will be. But it also depend on the Buddhist.

Some believe in gods and goddesses and some don't.

My American friend told me that many gods and goddesses made the earth, they all co creators, but become angry with each other on who will be ruler of them all. then they break up and cause many bad things happen to people, people who no follow them.
