I may sound like an idiot but how do I make my own spell please be as detailed as possible

You can make a spell anyway you want. Because you made it, It's more intamant for you when you cast it.

Well, making your own spells takes knowledge of spells that work, through experience and intellegence, and grafting ideas onto them or inventing completely new ideas out of the concepts you have learned from the work you did.
