So, recently I've had some contact with spirits, and I just wanted to validate them.
The most recent was today(12/11), in Maths class. I felt an urge to tell someone it would be okay, but I didn't even know them.
Since, I've been able to read my friends' emotions. I'm wondering if this is "psychic"?

No is not... I'm a psychic and is a gift from a family member that is close to you when dead during the next 2 weeks you will see the future be on to 2 weeks to a month. Sometimes in your dreams... But it also a curse... You can not stop the future from happen. You have to stand there and watch.. I know this very well... Happen to me when I was 5 years old.
Oh yea if you do see dead people that means they need your help to let there soul be free from earth... If you can feel your friends energy you taking the energy from your friend body and feeling the pain they felt...
What do you mean contact with spirits? In what way? From what you stated you might be an empath, clairsentience, or claircognizance.
empath snd clairsentience is feeling.
claircognizance is just knowing.
Psychic is a very broad term and doesn't just cover being clairvoyant. I can see spirits and pick up on emotions as well, but these are abilities we all have. I've just taken the time to develop it. Don't worry about labeling yourself, you're human and aren't doing anything wrong by exploring these abilities you have a talent for. I recommend experimenting to find out what you are capable of.
Yes, sorry I was a little vague. I see the spirits as "shadows", and less of a figure. I sometimes feel messeges, but I'm not constantly seeing & "channeling". About the energy, I feel their emotions vaguely, and more of a general feeling than accurate. I can "transfer" energy, between two people, but I can't "change" it entirely.
All that just means you have an aptitude for magic, though I use the term very broadly. You are more aware of the underlying energy of the universe and already have a talent for manipulating it. With practice you can gain more control over your abilities and have even greater effect on the world around you.
