Underage people on here

There is a TON of people on here that are under the required age to sign-up

I don't really mind as anyone should be allowed to do whatever but some of them are possibly the reason for the spread of people believing to be vampires because they're told it is real

I mean you don't exactly know the person is 11 when they're telling you they're a vampire and they are real

you've got a point. i've met a couple 11 year olds on her. one hand you can lie online, not a shock to anyone, on the other why have the age minimum then if people are going to go around it? legality i guess.

people need to keep in mind there's people of all ages on this site, we don't have to say our age after all. so try to speak as if the person is young. don't talk down to them, but watch what you say, and keep in mind the rules about teaching minors.

To add to what Neko has said, there are adult members on here that are just as fluffy as the underage members. I've seen plenty of them go around claiming to be vampires, werewolves, mermaids, etc. I don't believe that every young member is a fluffy or should be automatically treated as such, however, I do believe that the young age makes them impressionable and an easy target for anyone that believes in the fluff stuff.

Personally, I feel all members should be treated with respect and equality regardless of age, until they act in a manner that warrants them to be treated differently.

Maturity doesn't always come with age, age is just a number, yet rules are set for a reason.

There is indeed many who are quite delusional, media, mental illness, can be factors, or just an over active imagination that one is not grounded enough to establish the difference between reality and Wonderland.

You can tell them all you want that "you aren't anything, but human. Magick cannot change DNA, ect." However it will do no good to keep telling them if they will not listen.

Fluffies will always be around, unfortunantly. We'll just have to be mature enough to not feed the delusion, and ignore the poor attention seekers and let life teach them, for we cannot.

Balanced Blessings

If you encounter someone who is under the age of 13 they need to be reported to the Moderators. The rules of the site don't permit underage members because it can have legal implications.

I believe this thread is a great example of people openly admitting to be under the required age

I do agree that with most of us under agers it is easy to be naïve and vulnerable to fluff thinking. But there are some of us that really would like to learn as well. Things are happening around us and through us that we can't explain and with guidance we could be a helpful force. With the technology of today, info is readily available but wisdom comes through experience and therefore I am on this site to learn from people with experience.
Just ignore the ones that wanna play at magic and help us, the ones with the yearning to learn so that we don't hurt the people around us through mistakes because we are left to fend for ourselves.
