If it is something concerning making another human do something, please, do try to use the regular way first. If you try to change someone that does not want to change, the spell may do worse than fail. It could back fire.

Usually, if you've talked with the person and have done everything you could and they still will not change their mind, then it probably means something. Likely it means that the issue will resolve itself in due time.
