i want to plant herbs next summer.... but i rarely grow anything sooooo idk which herbs to choose... after i choose i can figure out the rest but yea.... do y'all have any suggestions on which ones i should first try to plant?

That depends on a lot of factors. Which plants grow best in your area? Which are readily available? What purposes do you plan on using them for?

I can give you a list of a few that I found easy to work with when I started gardening, if you like. However, I think researching a few that interest you might better assist you in determining which to grow.

The herbs I first started working with were sage, oregano, basil, lavender, thyme, rosemary, chamomile, and mint. A word of caution, it's a good idea to plant mint in a container by itself. It is a rather aggressive herb and will take over your garden if you allow it to grow unchecked. I made the mistake of planting it in my garden with the rest of my herbs and it choked most of them out because it spread so quickly and aggressively.
