third eye question?

Okay so I was meditating last night and when I was totally relaxed, I started to feel a tingling in my forehead. I rubbed it, but the feeling just came back. Today I feel better and more in control. I've felt this before when i'm relaxed and have a clear mind, but that was before I knew about all of this stuff. I don't quite understand the third eye though, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some more info?

The third eye is also known as one of the 6th's chakras. Its color is the color purple. It also represents the psychic(psyche). It's what helps you sense spiriual energy and all forms of energy. The third eye can be open with meditation practices. I also found that yoga is a good form of practice too. Since both help you feel relaxed and calm.

The third eye is located in the center of your forehead in between the brow, The 6th chakra is associated with pupitary gland, eyes,head and the lower parts of your brain. . The 6th chakra is known for psychic development and spiritual awareness. This is where you can be able to feel certain energies of spirits or other forms of spiritual energy. It whats helps you see things that other people dont see. The 6th chakra is where your intuition comes in and knowing things before they happen or while they happen. Good idea is to work other chakras I suggest always start from the bottom up I mean you would not build the roof before you lay out the fondation or buid the walls and such would you?
