As long as a coven and its members have similar goals, you should do just fine. As you start out, it might be best to first start out as merely a group with which you can practice and study. From your bio, it says that you are a beginner for the most part. Because of this, you may eventually decide to start a coven with your group, but I suggest that you appoint someone who is very knowledgable about their path and those of others. Someone who can resolve any issues that arise out of the individual members of the coven.

Running an online coven and running a real life coven are entirely different.

Here are several sites which will give you some assistance in making your own coven:

Aside from what has already been said, if you both wish to start a coven together you could try to incorporate some beliefs from both religions into the coven practices, methods of worship, etc. If you are both new, take the time to research, study, and practice before you make any major decisions. Leading a coven is a big responsibility and you may wish to take baby steps before trying to run into things, so to speak.

Blessings,
Lonicera
