Look for a live mentor

I don't have a lot of time on the computer ( I have a sibling ) and I was hoping there was a person nearby where I live to teach me the basics or an already existing group. I live in Dallas, Texas and moving to Red Oak within the next year. Hopefully not someone too old ( my parents would worry ).
