I'm young and I was a christian but none of it made sense to me so when I found this new religion it made more sense but I don't know where to start.

Read 'starting out' and 'basics expanded' on this forum.

Learn what magic is. Learn how it works. Learn what it can do. Learn what it cannot do. There are many posts here with books to help you educate yourself on magic.

Christians follow Jesus, whom they believe is Christ, Messiah, Savior. If you feel you need to be saved from something, Jesus' example might be a valid path. Jesus was probably a very powerful practitioner of magic and deserves a level of respect from anyone. He also loved people, was a pacifist, and died because he did not give up. That being said, he is a practitioner of magic and might have misused his power or been misaligned by the general public, thereby invalidating his example.

Sage has already said that he/she has given up Christianity. As for Jesus being a pacifist; wow! This is the man who drove a herd of pigs over a cliff; who wrecked a Holy Temple, who took a whip to the Money-changers. That's some pacifist!

Sage, when you say "new religion" what religion do you mean? Wicca? Or some other?

Religion and spirituality are two different things. But magick doesn't necessarily have to be associated with either. If you choose to follow a spiritual path that practices magick but one does not necessarily go with the other
