Searching for god(dess)

I'm still searching for my main god and godess to honor. Recently, I realized I have smelling what I think is fresh, hot caramel corn in strange places. I'm just wondering, do any deities like the smell of caramel?

One way to search for a deity is to search for one based on what kind of person you are. By that I mean if art, love, martial arts (to choose 3 random examples) are important to you look for a deity that represents those things. Alternatively it's possible that your deity can select you so keep your senses alert and look for signs from the universe. Happy hunting ;)

I'd try meditation to get further inferences about this caramel deity. Keep posting to let me know if you do find anything.
One point think of the season you most find caramel corn in, I'd say fall for me, then search for deity that honor that season.

My goddesses that I feel connected to came to me through 3 different ways. Morrighan came to me by the sense of smell. I believe she was showing me what her realm was. I had smells of death while sitting in class.
Cerridwyn came to me in a personality trait. I love knowledge and the teachings of logic. I also felt drawn to her when I was taking tests and learning. She seemed most appropriate to think of as I gained knowledge.
Lilith came to me in a vision while I was meditating. She was shrouded in black robes and had giant black,raven-like wings. After I bowed before her she handed a black sword of an unknown metal. She never spoke yet I think I got the jest of what she was implying.

Many deities in many cultures like sweet things such as hot caramel corn. May I suggest looking for other signs for example a certain animal that keeps appearing or a certain word that keeps coming up.

Also try meditating on it as well as search yourself since a deity you work with usually reflects parts of yourself.

Hope this helps

This probably isn't much help but I believe that all gods are one God and all goddesses are one Goddess.

I would disagree with that statement, simply due to its nature being a bit confusing when you think of Aphrodite being Hera, or Freya being Frigga, Odin being Hephaestus, Njord being Zeus, Hela being Hades, or various other name combinations which don't make sense with each other. Perhaps it is more accurate to say they all have the same god or goddess energies, rather than they all are the same god or goddess, or that several gods and goddesses have similar energies rather than they are somehow all the same.
