Why Wicca?

So I'm really trying to find away to intergate myself into this religion, if you'd be so kind I'd like to hear why other people chose this path so that hopefully i can find my own. I guess my question is, why did you choose Wicca?

According To me I don't choose wicca But wicca choose me ... You can not find your path in by knowing how why we are following wicca But you must know yourself what path is calling you what is best for you why are you attracted to your path and are you gonna be with that path all depends on you it's not hit and teach thing you have to follow your own liked path with you belief on it not others experience or beliefs...

I think we all have a calling in life and mine was Wicca because honestly no matter how hard I think about it there is no real reason

I mean I'd heard of it before through stuff like movies and TV shows but that didn't really influense me too much into anything

I don't really identify as much with Wicca anymore as I did before and now I see myself more a general Pagan but I think it was the basis of it and everything that it was about the drew me into it

I believe everything happens for a reason. With all the bad stuff that has happened in my life, it seems like Wicca is he only place where I feel like I fit in. I never really choose to be a wiccan it just sort of happened.

i've always been spiritual, and interested in other faiths, so i use study religions whenever i had the chance. as a kid i was studying the bible a lot, and even helped out the minister at my church because i was thinking about becoming one myself. as a grew up, i began to question things, and i fell out with Christianity. not in a negative way, i just stopped believing it.

one day in high school i took a religion course, and we had to research a religion and determine through our studies if it was a religion or a cult from our findings. on the list i saw Wicca, it seemed to jump out at me. up to that point i had never heard of it, so i was interested. i started researching the faith and it really spoke to me and i felt the same way i did as a kid in church. so i decided it was right for me, i told my mom the night i decided, she was fine [as long as i didn't sacrifice virgins in the back yard lol] and i've been Wiccan ever since. my beliefs have changed over the years. the first couple i was strictly 'by the book', following basically everything i read in beginners guides, but i had a few wiccan/pagan friends [turns out i always did, they were just in the broom closet] who taught me the Rede and many things were personal opinion and morality. so my views have changed over the years, and i jump back and forth on calling myself a 'Witch' or 'Wiccan'. i'm not 100% wiccan anymore, but i still hold some things about the path close.

so to get to the point, i'm Wiccan because i feel complete. whenever i think of what my path means to me i feel happy. that's why i chose Wicca. it wasn't the spells, or the looseness of the path, it was the male and female, the ancient wisdoms, and the reverence of nature that drew me.
