although i fully understand the anger and frustration from the older and more experienced in this website, concerning younger more gullible people asking (lets be honest) fantastical quetions lets remember these are inexperienced young people. Of course theres going to be qustions isnt that the great thing about this website, anyone can come and ask about demons, vampires ,mermaids.
What we must remember is to help these guys as much as we can and not pass judgement on those who are just inquisitive
Maybe in future there should be some sort of test any ideas would be great.
Yeah ur right.but when i(though in experienced) try to tell whatever my teacher tells me.we cannot become anything non human.they say i am a vampire u get lost.(*.*)
I would say (not speaking for everyone of course) that its the volume of the same questions that grinds against the grain with many of the more adept members.
Especially when there is a rapid influx of new members, there are always some genuine questions and some "fantastical" ones that show up. Its usually the same ones, sometimes because people don't explore the forums first and sometimes because people come here who want magic to be something like an escape. Which of course it isn't.
Some people find it hard not to become jaded by not only the same questions over and over, but by the people that either claim to be all powerful or the people that ask for opinions and once they are offered either reject them outright or refuse to consider them at length.
Im sure some people find more to be fustrated with, and other might find the above easily endurable.
I agree that we can all show more tolerance or compassion, but its not always easy
I agree with you, maybe im getting older but i used to come on here and look forward to going on the forum because it was so interesting and helped me on my path.
Now all it seems to be is complaints about what younger members are saying. Why cant we go back to the time when 50% of the forun wasnt people moaning. why not just ignore it
I think if anyone asking a Vampire, Werewolve, Mermaid, Unicorn, etc. question in one of the preexisting 150+ threads on those subjects; then us "older/experienced" people wouldn't complain at all and would most likely ignore it altogether.
But when those "beginners" make a new thread on top of the 150+ we already have on the subject, we old heads tend to cringe a bit. ;)
