Beginner!

Hello I just recently started to take an intrest in magic so when I found this site I was a little skeptical. I started reading around and found some stuff that said that magic will only work if you beleive. Well heres the thing, ... I'm having a hard time trying to find a way to beleive. I feel like magic can have an inpact on my life, but I am unsure how because of the lack of proof that actually works. So despite what's said I will continue to try. I found a spell that charges a wand. What are wands for and do I need one for every spell? Can some one please answer any of my questions?

I believe that one must find the proof in themselves that magick works instead of searching for it in the outside world.

A wand is a tool used in magick that is used as a extension of ones own personal energy. Also if you have a wand with lets say crystals on it your own energy combines with the energy of the crystals to help you direct your intention that much further and that much more stronger. You don't need a wand for spells in fact you don't need any tools for magick because you have everything you need already inside of you, but having magickal tools is just a way of assisting you.

Yes,tools are merely "aids". They can help the "mood". Lighted candles;burning incense or herbs; even decorations on an altar. Music and/or chanting. All are aids to mood. But, just as Celia says; none of them are necessary.
