I highly recommend you learn your basics first while reading a few bits of beginner material. The Books by Scott Cunningham and the Pure Magic book by Judika Illes are great starting points for learning magic. Both should have have a reference list if you want to keep reading on.

You will find a list of basics on the website.

Now, you don't actually need a 'teacher' you are perfectly capable of learning it yourself like the same way most of us did through hard work, research, experiences etc. We've been at the bottom and grown our way to the top. Now its your turn, I personally wouldn't ask for a teacher on this Website you will receive a lot of Children claiming to be 'Masters' when quite a few of us can say we have been practicing longer than they have been alive.

Good luck to you dear, you will find better rewards if you go at it alone than if someone pulled you around.
