hello, i want to ask something. I was watching this series, and it was about people who survived from animal attacks, i was wondering, that how could the person survived, if the animal decided to not kill the person. I once heard and saw that a person was attacked by a wild elephant and the elephant attacked him and then at the last moment, it decided to not kill him, why? im curious....please answer

Many animals only attack if threatened or hunting. As humans do not occupy the category of natural prey to any animal (although some animals may at times confuse humans with their natural food) I will assume these animals are attacking in defence. In the case of large animals such as elephants or predators such as lions or sharks, they usually pretty much kill their targets on the first hit if they fail to do so (especially herbivores) to actually kill the target is a waste of energy, as far as they're concerned why waste the energy to kill the target if nature will finish it off for them, as in the wild a severely injured creature will surely perish(it's only humans and our medics that keep us alive)

First, this topic does not belong here.
An animal attacks if they think they are in DANGER,and when it reaches the human,if it sees that the person is friendly, they will stop, which is rare.
